ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum Partners with National
Underwriter on Agency Tech Award

For independent, multi-line agents, technology is a
critical difference-maker in operating more productively
and cost-efficiently. To recognize the efforts of innovative
agencies when it comes to technology in selling commercial
coverage and personal lines, as well as group and individual
life and health insurance, National Underwriter, in partnership
with the ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum, invites entries
for the second annual NU Agency Technology Achievement
Award.
Agents are encouraged to enter their own IT initiatives
for consideration on this site, sharing their success
stories on how they creatively employed technology to
grow their business, better serve their carriers and insureds,
as well as streamline their operations. In addition, insurers,
MGAs and technology vendors are welcome to nominate an
agency for NU to contact about entering the award program.
Three award winners will receive roundtrip airfare and
a three-night stay at the ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems
Forum in Orlando, May 17-19, 2009. In addition, they will
have their programs profiled in the May 18, 2009 edition
of National Underwriter. They will also share secrets
of their tech success during a panel discussion at the
ACORD LOMA Forum, with highlights appearing in NU's June
22 edition.
